I have about 325 servers (a mixture of windows, HP, and solaris).

I'm planning on using ALL_LOCAL_DRIVES and 'cross all mount points' for backing up each server. They will all have exclude lists as well.

How much more "work" is my master going to have to process? Can I expect backups to slow down a little, a lot, or no impact?

Any advice, thanks.

they should never be used together. Think about it....

Sorry.. let me clarify...

ALL_LOCAL_DRIVES on windows servers and cross all mount points on unix-based servers... not both options enabled on the same server.

little to no impact. most of the time in processing is in loading/mounting/positioning media.
