Question about Applying a HOTFIX - x700

I have downloaded the last 2 hotfixes for the 7.3 WSM, but am a little confused as to the part about where it says you must now save the image to the firebox. Is there a pdf file that soeone can direct me to on exactly how to apply the hotfixes? I have looked on Watchguard's site, but can't find it, and don't really want to eat up a support incident with a phone call. Do you go through Policy Manager? or the Flash Wizard?

once you have updated your software on your management pc then here is what you need to do.

open the current config form the firebox and save it to your computer. then save this configuration back to the firebox as your normally would...file..save to firebox.

The box that says save to firebox and new flash image should be checked. be sure to also check the box make a backup copy before saving. and make sure that you make the encryption key something easy to remember.

After you click on continue it will save the current config to the firebox as well as update the flash image with the hot fixes. you will need to reboot your firebox to complete this process....it will not give you a choice on this one I remember correctly

great! thanks, that is the part that i was missing, where the wsm knows to append the new code to the image to flashback. many thanks, i will try it and let you know. thanks again.
