Can anybody helps me how to fine tune a query? What are the points to be taken care? How to use the SQL Query Analysier for this purpose?

As Terry pointed for someone with a similar problem:

'Check Thread183-129404 for a link to an excellent performance-tuning article. It is a must read if you haven't done much query tuning.'
