query that searches in all the tables

it's simple but driving me nuts! the database has about 22 or so tables and I just need to search for values in the same field in all the tables but it just won't work.If anyone knows of a way to do this that I haven't tried (one that involves SQL), I'd be very grateful!
 
In order to do this you'll have to loop through the tables collection of the given database, then loop in your field in each table.

Hit F1 and search for "Collections". You'll find some examples that you should be able to blend together. Most are VB code but it's really just copy/paste... :) Gord
