Query table based on flat file

Hi--I need to query a table based upon values which are read in a flat file. For example, I have a flat file of names and addresses and need to find each name on the name table, by reading in the name/address flat file. How do i accomplish this?

I would read your flat file into a table and use that table to join to your original table.
