Query returns all columms instead of the select ones.

Hi,

My Microsoft Access 2003 is giving this problem lately.
When creating a query in Access 2003 it returns reults from all the columns in the table instead of the selected ones.

This is happening on any access database and from any tables.

I have tried uninstalling Microsoft Office 2003 and reinstalling it, it is still giving me this problem.

Any susgestion on how to resolve this.

Check the query properties for the Output All Fields. Or view the SQL view to see the *.

In tools->options, you might find the same property.

Thanks dhookom, that fixes the problem by unticking the option to "output all fields
