Any help would be grateful. Since I stopped using Access a year ago I have forgot how to do most things.

I have Fields (Year, Products and Months). I need to create a query so that when I run a report, it displays the information by year and then splits the year into fours quarters (jan-mar), apr-jun) etc.

Is there an easy way of doing this.

Thanks

Open the Report in Design View. Look for the Sorting and Grouping button or go to View....Sorting and Grouping. In the Field/Expression box, select your Year Field twice. Then down below in the Group Properties, you can select Year and Quarter in the Group On property.
You will probably need two group headers with the Year field in each one. The first to group by Year, the second to group by Qtr.
