I have part numbers
12345-m
12345-h
all in one column I want to build an expression to pick only the parts wit ht -h and not the -m what do i need to add to the query to only pull the -h parts

On the criteria line.

Actually you need to do this:

Like "*-h*"

The last astrick is also needed.

Why is a second asterisk needed? Surely:
Like A* : A is the first character
Like *A* : A is anywhere in the string
Like *A : A is the last character.
