I know this might sound a bit basic, but the method for querying for numbers in Access 95 is not working in Access 97 (eg) to search for all numbers beginning with a 1, I would have used 1*.
The problem is this doesn't seem to work for Access 97.
Any ideas?

It does work but you must be missing something else.
First of all how are you doing it, in a query? Using VBA code.
Is the data type a Text or a Number?

DougP
dposton@universal1.com

Ask me how Bar-codes can help you be more productive.

Problem solved!!!

Had to put commas around the 1* so I just used: Like "1*" and that was that!!

Cheers anyway!
