I need to create about 5 master pages for a book. There are certain elements that will be the same to all of them such as a color bar and page numbers. If I have to change one of those elements, I'd like to be able to change it globally, not have to make the same change to each master. Like in InDesigh, you have parent masters and child masters. So if you build all master pages based on the parent master, all you have to do is go to the parent master, make the change, and it affects all the other masters automatically. Can this be done in Quark?

Ok - but if I set this up as a book, and then make these changes to the 1st chapter, it will apply it to all the chapters, right?
