quark 6.5 save as pdf

Hello I am completly new to Quark, I have version 6.5 when I try to export to a pdf I get an error that says:

To Save a Layout as a PDF File. a PostScript Printer must be setup to print to a file

I installed my printer to print to a file and it still not working

Help please!!

hi,
try installing a virtual printer(prefer,Apple 1200 PS) with portrint to file.then set this as ur default printer.

Ahhh I finally got it.

You have to create a new printer, when creating the new printere you select print to file in the local port. then select HP 8500 Color PS, set it as the default printer, not shared and do not print a test page.
Open Quark click on Edit, Preferences and then click on PDF the Options Button, go to the Output Tab and on Print Colors select Device N. that does the trick.
