Seems like the answer should be obvious, but I'm stuck. I'm trying to print a 2 page newsletter on one page...which requires me to print on both sides of the paper. Any tips on how to get quark to do that?

Quark doesn't do this. Your printer and the printer driver does this.

If you are using the most basic printer, print page 1.

Reinsert the printed page into the printer and print page 2 so that the other side is imaged.

hmm..alrighty...could ou point me in the direction of the Canon ColorPASS Z40e forum?

You should have the Colorpass Print driver and ppd installed on your system. If you don't you should be able to download these from the Canon website for free.

If these items are installed, when you choose the colorpass as your printer you should get features that are unique to that printer in your Quark print window. If the colorpass is a duplex printer you should be able to select a duplex option in this window. The duplex option may be located under the printer tab or properties.

If it is not a duplex printer see above.
