I have installed Quark 4.1 on a Mac with OSx.

The Quark version has an ADB dongle. I use an iMate to connect ADB to USB.

I can boot Quark (obviously in Classic) but there is a problem with the the iMate, it forces the keyboard to UK instead of German (ie, 'QWERTY' instead of 'QWERTZ'). It seems that Apple keep breaking the iMate solution through each update.

Quark no longer offers an ADB for USB dongle exchange.

Does anyone know if there's a work around?

Best regards

I tried the iMate as well but gave it up when I moved to OSX.

The iMate was intended as a temporary patch to transition users from ADB to USB. It came out over 4 years ago which is ancient in computing terms. Your best 'workaround' is to upgrade Quark just as you have with your computer and operating system.

I looked into the iMate too, but found that I had to get rid of my wacom tablet because it wouldnt work with OSX through a dongle... about the same price setback!
