I have qsig setup and running between a 1000m and An Avaya 8700. I have a slight issue: Caller from the Avaya dials a Nortel user. He enter the Avaya access code 123 and the Nortel phone extension 5678 (named "TEST PHONE"). The Nortel user is on the phone and the call hunts to line two. On the avaya phone display reads "1235678 forward" while the phone rings. when answered the Avaya phone displays the Nortel ext name "TEST PHONE forward". My question is there any way to not have the "forward" or these type messages ignored so they do not appear on the Avaya display.

Nortel sets have cls CNDA and DNDD. I'm thinking its something with the Dch messaging.

Qsig with interface ISGF will provide more info than that of ESGF
your RCAP setting may need to be tweaked maybe set to ND2 or ND1

Cheers!!
