Hi,

I am trying to pass CLID from a Nortel 61C (answered by switchboard or auto attendant) and passed to a Mitel 3300 over PRI with QSIG. The Nortel is rel. 25.40 and the CLID gets passed when the call comes in via a DID just not if it is answered by the Nortel side and re-routed. I am told it is supposed to work but my Nortel distributor says that it doesn't. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

RVH

you need to look at that d channel msg. in and out on that route and check the rcap and service msg status. it will work. but will take some trial and error..

We have the same set up in two different locations without problems but we had to use ISIG to get the Meridian and Nortel working no other would work, also we have to config. the Mitel to send all the digits en block.

We did have to install the following S/W PATCH 17158 because we were receiving error as ERR 5523- CPND issues on the Q sig.

Hi, please can you tell me the cards/hardware you used to interconnect the two switches with. Any help is appreciated. Thank you. AJK

The card in the Nortel was either a 79 or 50 card ? the normal card you install for all Q Sig links. The only difference is that on the interface settng in LD 17 you configure it to be ISIGGF - the exact prompt you may need to check with the books. Also in LD 17 set the ESEN ? to STD- carry out a PDF search for STD for the load and prompts, normally it is ESN5N when connecting to Nortels. Basically when you carry out a trace the Norel sends digts such as 017xxxx

01 - Customer number
7 -NCOS
XXXX Extension

The Mitel will see this as an actual number so will reject the call, setting the prompt to STD makes the Nortel only send the extension number

in the nortel i used a dual pri with an msdl. daughter board dchi would have done the same thing. just remember, after any changes on a d, dis the card and enl msdl x fdl.. that card only sees the changes after a download
