Hi, about once a week I am getting this error in maillog:
Apr 27 03:07:25 mail-relay2 postfix/qmgr[44198]: fatal: qmgr_move: update active/B8F94D85 time stamps: Not owner
Apr 27 03:07:26 mail-relay2 postfix/master[49966]: warning: process /usr/libexec/postfix/qmgr pid 44198 exit status 1
Apr 27 03:07:26 mail-relay2 postfix/master[49966]: warning: /usr/libexec/postfix/qmgr: bad command startup -- throttling
then qmgr drops and doesn't process any more mail until I change the permissions on the offending mail item.
Does anyone have any idea why this happens, it is always in the active queue.
I am fairly new to postfix so any advice greatly appreciated.
