QLA2340 on a SAN

I have a customer with a 3-node netware 6 SP2 cluster, each with 2 QLA2340 controller in them (these are OEMed to HP as FCA2210). The controllers access shared storage in a HP VA system and they access LUNs numbered 30 - 35. When we load the QL2300.HAM driver with the /MAXLUNS=64 and type LIST DEVICES, there are a number of unbound devices. If we drop the number to 48, most of the unknown devices are gone except for one or two (we have to keep this parameter increased as the driver will not see all the LUNs above 32. Also, every time the machines are rebooted, they pick up the LUNs in different orders and have different identifiers. Is there some way to force the HAM driver to discover the LUNs in a specific order and are we able to get rid of all the extra unknown devices (is there an undocumented switch)? The driver is v6.50S. Our backup software needs to discover the correct HEX values consistently
