I have a table that has 3000 vendors in a format like below:

A & K CUTTER'S EDGE 345 NW 336TH AVE. HILLSBORO, OR 97124
A J GREENBERG D.P.M PO BOX 15964 SEATTLE, WA 98115
ABA 6420 SW MACADAM AVE. SUITE 380 PORTLAND, OR 97201

Obviously in a line.
I've been trying to export this to excel so it is divided into seperate section like Name, Address, City, State, Zip.
After a lot of frustration, I can't seem to get it right.
Any ideas?

I can see why you're frustrated.

I can't see any way to break the lines into seperate fields without being able to tell where one field ends and the next one starts.

I would offer to edit it for you for $1 a line ...

Oh your so nice to offer.... ;)
I've managed to break out state and zip, but I am ready to give up.
Thanks,
Melissa

May I suggest finding the person who invented this "special" method of storing Name, Address, etc. and introducing them to the business end of your recently-purchased baseball bat?

Having thought about this a bit more...

How specific are ZIP codes? Here in the UK our postal codes are specific to an average of approx 17 residences / buildings.

If in the US it's is similar then, in principle, you should be able to retrieve a partial address from the ZIP, which in turn should help identify where the address starts.

Of course if the only addresses with ZIPs are the ones you've posted...

An additional $0.02.
