How do youall push patches to workstations?

I've tried the HFNetChkLT tool by Shavlik, but unless you opt for the $800 pro version, it doesn't do much. I also heard that microsoft has a free server that can automatically push patches to workstations.

Any recomendations?

look for "Software Update Services" on MS's website, or download SP3, it's included in that...

You can also download their Baseline Security Analyzer to keep up to date. This can be used to scan w2k machines, including servers to check for missing patches, how many accounts have passwords set to not expire, etc. Good freeware. Glen A. Johnson

Good advise, thanks.
Have you tried the Software Update Services? Does it work well?

I use it. It's pretty good. You just need to take control of it...
