It is a manual process.
To automate that would be a nightmare. Your LSP servers could have different loads and different patches.
hotpatch, coldpatch, kernel patch, security patch, bash shellshock, just to name a few. Some do reboots,
CM restarts, etc. An automated process would have to have a lot of intelligence built in and would need
to collect logs for failures, reasons, success, etc.
I don't really think you want to automate something that deactivates, unpacks, removes, activates, restarts
and reboots servers and CM survivable servers remotely.
It is a lot of work. It's job security.
A great teacher, does not provide answers, but methods to teach others "How and where to find the answers"
