Pulling data from a report

Is their a way to pull data directly from a report and say put it into a table? I am trying to create another report that will pull the totals from another report. Not sure if this makes sense, but let me know. I could come up with the report another way, but it would take a lot more coding to get it to work correctly.

I'm not sure why you'd want to pull the data from the report? If you can generate a report, then can't you just go straight to the data source and pull the data again for the second report?

If your looking to display multiple reports based on the same data, are sub reports an option for you? I'm sure a few more details would clear things up a bit.
