I am new to publishing applications. While I have been overseeing our Citrix servers for a year or so, I have up to now been delivering only desktops, not published applications.

I have published several applications and that seeme to be working fine. However, I have a group of home grown apps that reside on a NetWare server. On all our desktops, including the Citrix servers desktops, these applications appear as a folder full of links.

Can I publish the folder so that when the user opens the item from Program Neighborhood he then is presented this folder of links to these specific applications? Or do I have to publish each and every application seperately?

Thanks very much for your help.

You really should Publish each app seperately. For many reasons.
If you publish the folder it is basically the same as a desktop, minus the taskbar. Leaves you wide open.
In our company people only have rights to certain apps., not all. Publishing them seperately will add to the security for them.
If one or more of the apps. are flaky you can troubleshoot much easier if they have seperate connections.
With the apps. published seperatley you can load balance much easier. If you have one or two apps. that everyone uses you can publish them to multiple servers. And if you have some apps. that hardly anyone uses you can publish that to just one server.
We have 3 or 4 flaky apps. that we publish all to one server so that if they crash it that only affects that server and a few users.
