Hi

I am trying to publish a data transfer from our AS400,
I double click on the published icon and I get the data transfer program up but it doesnt pick up the actual .dtt file which provides the parameters for the transfer.

I get this error
"Invalid file type. It is either not a transfer file request type, or the file has been corrupted"

If I run the .dtt file directly from the server desktop, it runs fine. Any advice welcome..........

The command line for the published app is
"D:\Program Files\IBM\Client Access\cwbtf.exe" "D:\Adapt\GLPOST.dtt"

thanks!!

Are you using a batch file to execute the command above? If not, simply write a short batch file that runs the same command and publish the batch file. That should work better. Apparently published applications try to use some logic on the command line prior to logging into the server and running the command. Calling an app from a batch file seems to get past that and it runs in the same "context" that you would run it from a published desktop or the console.

Thanks Jeff

Your advice worked first time
