Digital Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) security certificates are used for data encryption on secure communication links in several Avaya products. By design, security certificates expire after a period of time, requiring system administrators to update them periodically. This advisory is to notify customers that many Communication Manager systems worldwide have PKI certificates with an expiration date of March 11, 2009. A very small number of Application Enablement Services and Modular Messaging systems also have certificates that expire on this same date.

yes, and if a license was generated after August 29th, 2007, or the client bought additional RTU, etc, and you generated a new license, you won't have to worry about it.

"Any system that has been upgraded after August 29, 2007 includes the updated encryption key licenses."

P.S. If you have not installed a new license since 8/29/2007, you or your Business Partner can generate a new licnese for you, and install it, which solves the issue.
