Hi,

I have some Public folder from exchange 2000 that I have to restore into exchange 2003. The problem is that these public folders come from a domain that does no longer exist. The backup was created using Veritas backup exec 10 with the exchange agent. Any ideas on how to proceed?

Rebuild the orginal server/domain and restore the Information store and extract out to pst file.

Not possible to re-direct public folder restore, especially to a different version of exchange.

Nope, limiation of Microsoft. You can install VMware or Virtual PC and restore the old DC into a Virtual machine.

Or Contact Microsoft and see what they suggest.
