We are using Exchange 2003 Advanced. I have setup a Public Folder to be used as a shared Calendar. However when you try to open it using File, Open Other User's Folder it states 'The server mailbox cannot be opened because this address book entry is not a mail user.' I have unticked the Hide from Exchange Lists so the Folder appears in the GAL. We would like to be able to add this to the cached Calendars available in Outlook 2003.

I have noticed that when the Public Folders were located on the Exchange 5.5 server it was possible to do this. Since I ran a pfmigrate to rehome public folders to Exchange 2003 we are experiencing the above problem. We still replicate to Exchange 5.5

Any help appreciated.

Mike

Add to favourites if you want it available offline... is that what you mean? (also need to configure option on the account to download favourites.)

Hi, It is available from Public Folders but the user wants to have it available from Calendar caching in Outlook 2003. This will let him compare Calendars.
