I am having problems with users receiving NDRs when emailing a Public Folder (luckily it was already set to forward to the person who deals with those emails). I am in the middle of a 5 Exchange 5.5 to Exchange Enterprise 2003 migration and I know that is causing the problem.

When I run pfmigrate /S:"5.5 server" /T:"2003 server" /R /SC (M$ kb 843107) I receive:
"Your Exchange organization has at least one Active Directory Connector that is not Exchange 2003 SP1 or later. Cross administrative groups moves will be blocked until all Active Directory Connectors have been upgraded to Exchange 2003 SP1 or later."
I did find a way to upgrade the Exchange 2003 to the SP1 connector, but it didn't do anything to the 5.5 server (The connector upgrade comes from the Exchange 2003 SP1 download --> E3SP1ENG\adc\i386\setup.exe)

I don't know where I'm supposed to make the connector at or if I fix the above error if I need to make a new one... in my Active Directory Connector Services console I have two connectors - one for my new server and one from one of the 5.5 server. I may be doing this all wrong, but I try to create the connector on the new server and when I put in the admin password I get this error:
"The directory property cannot be found in the cache.
Facility: Active Directory
ID no: 80072116
Microsoft Active Directory Connector Management"

When I cancel out of that I get:
"The credentials specified on the Connections tab are incorrect or do not have sufficient permissions to access the Windows Active Directory. Please ensure that the credentials specified are entered correctly and that sufficient permissions are granted in order to access the Windows Active Directory.
ID no: c103aa10
Microsoft Active Directory Connector Management"

I am using a full admin account, so I don't understand why it tells me this.

Thanks for any help/suggestions,
fat
