In the middle of a migration from five 5.5 to one Exchange Enterprise 2003 server. Users were telling me for weeks that one of the addresses was failing; however, the woman that checks those emails said that she was getting them. They go into a Public Folder, the woman responsible for them checks the Public Folder, and then processes them. Yesterday, she tells me that the folder is missing. Sure enough, it's no longer visible in Outlook... but thankfully it is still in Exchange System Manager and the 5.5 Exchange Admin program. I haven't touched the Public Folders, i.e. I haven't run pfmigrate yet. Any ideas on how to make the folder visible again?

The folder and its subfolders are still in the Admin programs. Nothing on folder has been changed... permissions are the way they are supposed to be.

What I did yesterday:
1. Messed around with OWA "skins" (adding the xbox theme)
2. I moved a couple boxes over to the new server
3. Database became "corrupted" for one Store during a move, so I had to move out the log files for that Store and run eseutil /p to fix the database --> this store does not contain our Public Folders, they are still on the 5.5 servers

Don't know if bumps are legal... just hoping someone has any info on this.

Thanks

I believe that the problem is that during the migration process Exchange 2003 made the wrong mailbox her primary... with 5.5 she was tied to two mailboxes. I gave myself permission on this Public Folder and it pops right up for me. I give her the same permission and nothing (I've waited days for it to "sync" up). Is there a way to "merge" her two accounts or swap account info from one to the other?

It would make sense that this could be the cause of the problem; however, I don't understand why it started a couple month after she was moved to the new server...
