I have an instance of webmail running smoothly. We also use http over rpc.

However I cannot access the public folder section, and was wondering what additional configuration was need. it should just work, correct?

When I try to access the public folders, I get the following error message:

Code:
The page must be viewed over a secure channel
The page you are trying to access is secured with Secure Sockets Layer (SSL).
----------------------
Please try the following:

Type https:// at the beginning of the address you are attempting to reach and press ENTER.
HTTP Error 403.4 - Forbidden: SSL is required to view this resource.
Internet Information Services (IIS)

However I am using . The SSL cert works, I am just not sure if I have something misconfigured or maybe a perms issue?

I'm assuming by "webmail", you mean Outlook Web Access.

Go through markdmac's list of permissions and settings in thread955-1295584, then do an iisrest

Are you refering to this and do an IIS reset?

Code:
 Default Web site
    Enable Anonymous access
    Integrated Windows Authentication
Exadmin
    Integrated Windows Authentication
    Require SSL
        Require 128 bit
Exchange
    Basic Authentication
        Default Domain \
Exchange-oma
    Integrated Windows Authentication
    Basic Authentication
ExchWeb
    Enable Anonymous access
    Require SSL
        Require 128 bit
Microsoft-Server-ActiveSync
    Scripts and Executables
    Exchange Application Pool
    Basic Authentication
        Default Domain DomainName
OMA
    Scripts Only
    ExchangeMobileBrowseApplicationPool
    Basic Authentication

I checked the perms above and everything seems to jive.

I have compared my install with others that work and here is what I found:

Under directory Security in Public Properties in IIS:
On my front end server, default domain is reading "mydomain.com" on the backend server it just reads "\" . Both have basic auth checked.

My specific error code is 401.3
Unauthorized. Unauthorized due to ACL on resource.

I dont want to try the shotgun approach and google really has not helped. Any help would be awesome as I am lost.
