Public Calendar not replicating correctly?

I am in the process of installing Exchange 2003 on a new W2k3 box and tranfering everything from the old Exchange 2000 w2k box.

I have followed an msexchange.org article on transfering and currently have 5 users mailboxes on the 2003 box.

So far all the public folders have gone across fine except for one and its the only public folder calendar I have. Any mailbox transfered to the 2003 box can see the calendar but as soon as I stop the sync'ing and remove the 2k exchange from the replication service (for that folder), anyone with a mailbox on the 2k box loses the calendar.

If someone has an idea as to what the problem may be, it will be much appreciated. I know I can fix the problem by rushing to get more mailboxes on the new 2003 setup but I don't want to do that yet.

If you create a local PST and grab all of the calendar info to the PST, then set up a new calendar on the new server and import that data, can your users ont he old system see it?

Also, I just want to confirm that you did setup the new server within the same Exchange site as the 2K box right?

I hope you find this post helpful.

Mark

Mark, thanks for the help but I have to confess to having cheated. After much discussion with my boss I moved all the relevent mailboxes onto the new server. End of problem.

Of cause that created half a dozen new problems in that our Blackberrys stopped working, some shared mailboxes stopped sending under the share name and decided to send "on behalf of" but at least one is fixed.

Again, thanks for the help.

Phil
