pua or gpua?

PUA pickup allowed. GPUA group pickup allowed. You can assign mulitple phones to the same RNPG group so that they can as a group pick each others calls.

Do I remember correctly? In RLS 25.40 you could have RNPG and a group assignment and leave PUD. Under Succ.3.0 you had to change it to PUA in order to use RNPG...

pua.. was for directed call pickup.. gpua was to pickup any ringing phone only in your group, you press the rnp key and picked up the line that had been ringing the longest in your group.. with directed, you dial the spree plus 75 plus the dn of any ringing phone.. as posted turn them both on if you want group to work on later rls's

yes, put gpua pua and a unique rnpg for each dept.. rule of thumb is that no one needs to be in my rngp unless i can hear there phone ring

I STILL DON'T SEE A DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE 2 OF THEM I TRIED BOTH AND I DO NOT SEE A NOTICIBLE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN PUA AND GPUA..

if gpua is off use directed pickup to pick up a call that is not in your rnpg

OK I HAVE A 3904 DN MCR 8903 IN A RNPG 202 I ALSO ADED A RNP KEY EVEN IF THE SOFTWARE KEYS DISPLAY PICK UP A CALL,SO IN MY CLS I TRIED PUA ( THIS IS STANDERT PROGRAMING WERE WE ARE ) AND I PROGRAMED A SECOND SET DN # 8023 WITHIN THE SAME RNPG 202.I CAN PICK UP HIS CALL NO PROBLEME.WE PROGRAMED A 3 SET DN # 8949 IN A DIFFERENT RNPG 201 AND ADED GPUA IN MY CLS.AND I CONNOT PICK UP HIS CALL FROM THE DIFFERENT RNPG GROUP..AM I MISSING SOMETHING..BY THE WAY THANK YOU FOR YOU'RE TIME WITH THIS PROBLEME..
