I have a user who has a mailbox over 2 GB so i know i cannot use exmerge. But i have logged in as the user and tried to export their mailbox to a PST but after completed the size is only 1.59 GB and there are emails missing. Does anyone know of anyway i can export their mailbox and not lose any email?

Thanks

yes but i need to export the email b/c it is being moved to another server in another domain.

You CAN use ExMerge. Use the advanced features and select dates for the mail. Break it down by year or quarter year as needed.

Sounds like you have a real CYA nut. When you get the old mail exported, give any mail older than a year to the user on CD or DVD and don't import it. Let the use have that as an archive. In order to actually use it they will need to copy the file to their PC for Outlook to open it and I bet you won't ever get asked about it. Only time I have seen this not be the case was in a law office where they really did need to get all history, and that was to satisfy court ordered discovery.

I hope you find this post helpful.

Mark
