Psoft parameters in Crystal (v6)

I need parameters entered in Peoplesoft Query (date range) and need them displayed on the report. How do I get parameters passed from Psoft to Crystal?<br>(I also have tried putting the parameters only in Crystal but then have problems ignoring the lines which fall outside the date range).<br><br>Going frantic here!<br><br>(also, any suggestions to a decent book which describes all the functions/formulas in decent detail plus other decent hints and tips?).
