Proxy Server

Hi,

I currently have a problem with Proxy server 2.0. When accessing web pages it often times out. A ping from the router is OK but from a client machine/server it is less
sucessful.

Do you have any ideas on what I can look at from a Proxy server point of view?

have you tried to access internet web pages from the proxy server itself ?
(that could point to a nic/modem problem)

are you using dial-up or leased line ? ---------------------------------------------------------------------

Hi,

They are using a 64K ISDN connection and it is the same from the proxy server itself.

so the 64K ISDN connection is connected to a router ?
what happens if the client bypasses the proxy server ? ---------------------------------------------------------------------
