Provision for week 5 in backup reigime

Hi,

I'm moving from NT Backup to Backup Exec.

My backup reigime on NTBackup is Mon-Thur daily differential, Friday Weekly Full. Mon-Thur are overwritten every week, I have 5 Friday tapes, so these are overwritten once a month. Obviously there are only a few 5th Fridays each month, therefore, can Backup Exec be scheduled for this? I notice there is a Week 1, 2, 3, 4, Last? If I schedule a job for week 4, and a job for last week. Will both jobs try to run at once, when there are only 4 Fridays in a month?

You would be fine with choosing all the Fridays, including the last Friday, or you could choose the "Day Interval" and tell it every 7 days calculated from the previous Friday prior to your fist backup that you want to run.

Forgot to mention, I'd probably have a separate media set for each Friday week, to ensure that a week's tapes don't get overwritten by the autoloader. I guess this would mean separate jobs for each week. Would this still work?
