Is there any way of preventing formulas from being deleted / changed whilst allowing for data to be changed in a Worksheet in Excel 2000 ? I can protect the formula or hide it but this then does not allow any data to be changed in the worksheet.

You need to protect/unprotect each cell individualy. The default is locked so when you protect the sheet using 'Tools->Protection->Protect' you lock all of the cells. Select the cell or cells you want to modify, right click and select the 'Format Cells...' option then select the 'Protection' tab and then unlock the cells that you want people to be able to modify. Then use the 'Tools->Protection->Protect' option to lock the whole sheet.

Hope this helps.
