Protecting a worksheet

Is is possible to protect a worksheet in a way where it prevents a user from using the CUT & PASTE function.

And if does this also apply to the COPY & PASTE function.

it is but not via protection and it'd mean putting code in a fair number of places

Easiest way to start with is to place

Application.cutcopymode = false

in ALL the sheet activate and sheet deactivate events

Also, create your own macro with just that line on it and assign a shortcut key of CTRL + C and another one with a shortcut key of CTRL + X (for copy and pastes)
Then it just remains to disable the toolbars.....

Seems to be working well.

 
There'll be ways round it but that tends to stop most copy / cut and pasting
