Dear folks!
I want to protect my sheet from others. I have used option Protect Worksheet and Protect Workbook. But it doesn't ask password, while starting excel. I'm not satisfy with this features. I want to do that without some password stuff people couldn't open that excel sheet. Is it possible? Could anybody have any other protection methods..?

Thanks and Regards,
palani. Thanks and Regards,
Palani.

yes you need a third party software cuz i dont think you can password protect a office document through windows. "blah blah blah blah blah..."-Dennis Quaid

Yeah sure,

if you want to stop people opening your Excel workbook without a password, then when you are saving your workbook, using File/Save As... menu option, press the button labelled Options ..., and provide a password to open the file.

Easy as that.

Glenn.
