I have a user that is in a sequential group that needs the possiblility of being picked up from her extension, but she doesn't want the direct ddi calls to be picked up, the pickup group has to be members, as it has to include transfers to her desk.

Thanks for your help

Its funny how sometimes I will read the boards and have no idea what the person is typing about. Usually I chalk it up to lack of interest or cool detachment but I am clearly stumped on how this person is trying to hide from a phone call.

Use system monitor unless of course you are a Tard then it IS the fault of the pbx.

I know what he means, he wants calls to the group to be picked up and and calls transferred directly to her picked up but not calls to her phone from her DDI....it's not possible :)

Or have the DDI ring to an analog station that is not a member of the group - then have her cover the analog station. This would accomplish the task.

Thanks for your replys, I have tried bridged appearances and coverage appearances with a dummy user, bridged appearnces ring but can still be picked up, they have a spare analog station port , I will try that with a cover button,

Thanks every one for your help

Robb

What type of pickup are you using? If you used Pickup Members and didn't include the analog spare, I think you'd be good. If you use Pickup Any then my scenario won't work.

Two phones

Use system monitor unless of course you are a Tard then it IS the fault of the pbx.
