Properties all disappear

Here I am, just developing and minding my own business, when all of a sudden all the properties disappear. No properties in the Property Window, no Property Pages in the Project Properties. All gone. Restarting doesn't help. Does anyone have any ideas?

I should add I'm using MSVC 7 .NET Pro under Windows XP Pro.
