propblem opening an existing project in Visual Studio 2005

Hello everyone,
I have a project mady by someone else and I have to do some extra stuff on it, BUT I receieve the err :

Theproject type is not supported by this instalation

when I try to open the solution? What should I do to go through that and to open that project?

Every advice is welcome.
p.s. I have Visual Studio 2005 Profesional

Hi,

Try

File>Open>Website

and browse to the folder.
If it's a 2003 project it will convert it.

Or try to open the project or files from the other File>Open options

Actually as I know that project is also made in VS 2005. I've already tried all that open stuff and it did not open.. The same err all the time. Hope the problem is nto that I have bot VS 2002 and VS 2005 installed.

Was the project created using VS2005 Team Suite? If so, this could be a problem if you don't have the TS version.
