I have Fiber Optics Internet System [FIOS] install last week.
Since then I am unable log into internet remotely from another PC.It seems to indicate that the Wireless signal is strong and connected but non of the internet pages I want browse are loading [ not Coming up].

I have tried figure this for hours and finally called Verizon who provided the FIOS, they told me to install the MS Service pack 2. Even after installing MS Service Pack 2, there was no change. I still cannot bring up any internet sites.

Any advice on this to resolve matter will be greatly appreciated

Your best bet would be to get the Verizon people back out, but here's some suggestions:

Start>settings>Network Connections>right-click all other connections but the wireless and Disable

Is the wireless system encrypted? Go to the modem's interface page and check your options. To get the modem's address, Start>Run>cmd>ipconfig will tell you the machine's IP, usually 192.168.x.x. The router's address is usually 192.168.x.0 or .x.1

Try pinging the router/modem from the wireless device Start>Run>cmd> ping 192.168.x.x (router's IP)to see if the connection is getting to the modem. Best of luck!
