There have been a few times recently when working in outlook I'll receive a logon box that says CONNECT TO "SERVER" - SERVER being the name of the domain controller. When I reboot the DC everything seems to be fine.

DC is 2003 / Native Mode / Exchange 2003 / Outlook 2003 / Windows XP.

Is this a probelm with the DC or Exchange. Has anyone seen this before?

Does this happen to only you? Other people getting it as well?

It is random. Happens to multiple people.

I have has this happen before as well. It usually when a user has just changed their password and also when I was having DNS issues. We had replaced a domain controller and DHCP was still referencing the OLD DNS servers. After releasing and renewing DHCP, all was happy.
