I have just taken over responsibilities on an AIX 4.3/Rs6000 system. The previous SA upgraded the firmware along with a hardware upgrade. According to office rumor, he set it to run in "BB" mode, a type of test mode, but never 'promoted' it to "AA".
How can I tell which mode it is in?
If it does require 'promotion', how is that accomplished?
I have been very unsuccessful locating documentation on the subject.
