Programs and WindowsXP Keep Crashing

Hi

Please can someone help me asap?

Im having major problems in Windows XP.
Programs that Iam working in and also Windows itself keep crashing.
Ive just installed 515meg of new DDR memory only last night and the problems have seem to have stemmed and started since then?
This would probably point to that.
Could the memory I bought be faulty in anyway? Can this happen often or has anyone had an similar problems to this?
Has anybody got any suggestions?

Faulty memory can cause all sorts of random problems. Pull the new ram & see if the problems go away.

Make sure you RAM is compatible with your machine and make sure it is seated properly.
