I need to setup a RAN on my M1 11c. This will be for the RAN 1 and RAN 2 for the ACD. Any help on this? I have the RAN machine and a blank recording. I want it to play the short half second blank message then go to the hold music. Its set up on channel 3 i believe of the universal card.

Which type of card? MIRAN or interface to external source? Give Nortel reference.

Nortel Digital Announcer (seperate unit) wired into a Nortel Universal Trunk Card.

Are the ACOD something i make up, or is this something that is set somewhere... the 2003 and 2004 are something i made up...

Here is a picture of the wires punched down from the RAN machine... strange setup... the funny thing is that this is the way it was setup on our old m1 pbx that had the acd and rans working... and i can only assume it was copied over correctly.

Are you sure that your call is queueing or the agent phone is not ringing?

You may want to add the following key to your test agent phone to display waiting calls:

Supervisor phone
key x DWC "queue number"

There are only two phones set up for the ACD and they are both next to me. I can have both on MSB or logged out, and the line still rings. I also tried to have 1 phone logged in, made a test call, and dialed into the acd from another line and that one just rang as well.

i am no expert and just going by random memory. If this is the first acd queue you may have to set up a scb block first. Not sure. Also make sure key 0 looks something like key 0 acd 5600 0 xxxx.

i do have an SCB set up already. key 00 is setup like above.

ok, i set the TGAR on my phone to 0, and i can dial into my my trunks and hear the ran messages. but they still will not play when someone dials into my ACD. any other ideas on what to look for?

set froa to yes for testing, unless you have an agent on a call, testing rans; can fool you... log one agent in, call that set, then place a second call... that is normal interlia wireing, your getting acod access, lets play with your acd group.. the only step left
