I have some Norstar 7310 phone systems that I took from an office I had and I would like to reprogram them for a new office with a new number. When I plug them in I get no dial tone. Please help me if you can.

Thanks

Chuck

MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A DIGITAL PORT FROM JACK TO SWITCH, IF YOU GO OFF HOOK WITH A TEST SET YOU SHOULD HAVE TALK BATTERY PLUS A HIGH PITCH SOUND. IF YOU HAVE THIS PLUG PHONE IN JACK AND GIVE IT SOME TIME TO INIT.
SOME DO IT PRETTY QUICK OTHERS TAKE THERE SWEET TIME

you did move the ksu/phone switch along with the phones didnt you?

the phones need to be wired behind a switch they will not work on a standard telephone line.

please dont take offense to my comments but I have been called out on similar cases to find that the switch was left at the old location and the cusomer assumed he could just plug the phone in and have it work
