When building a 3905 phone, the PBX generates inappropriate error codes for the key number I am programming.

Any ideas?

Programming example#1
Code:
KEY 0 ACD
SCH3942

!ERR SCH3942

SCH3942
For Touchphone and M2000 series digital sets, this feature cannot be defined for this key number (17-35).

Programming example#2
Code:
KEY 19 cfw
SCH3942

!err sch3932

SCH3932
Keys 6-16 are reserved for future key expansion on Touchphone.

oh m 3905 call forward key is a soft key
you do not need to program it
it will be assigned automatically

The CFW key is progammed as a 16 digit CFW by default so unless you want to change the number of digits it allows, you don't have to program the key. The key 0 for the ACD is really odd. I have programmed hundreds of 3905s and never had this happen.

Does your PBX have all the latest DEPLIST patches installed? Are you on a high enough software release to use the M3905? I believe you have to be on a least 24.25 or possibly 25.30 for them to work.
