programing micros e7 1

hey guys , Im trying to reprogram a Micro e7 3 , i deleted all the previous employees but i still can`t get access to delete the owner ,

i have the manager key and some employee keys but i still cant change the interface and put my logo
if there is anyone who can help , it much appreciated , thx

To change the logo on the BOC, you have to replace Logo.bmp located in C:\Program Files\MICROS\e7\bin.

You must also manually change this on all of the workstation, located in (from memory, so might be wrong.. do some digging) CF\MICROS\e7\bin. You can sign in on the workstation and use the file explorer to pull the image over from other workstations or the BOC once you have it loaded once.

Why can't you delete the owner? Is it giving you an error message?

here is the thing , i bought this machine for my new coffee shop and i have the USB key(micros) and the back up USB , i used the manager key to sign in so i do all the changes i need ,

what happen is i managed to delete all employees except one ( i guess its the owner)
person i bought it from is overseas and never got back to me for help.

" you are not privileged to clear all totals" is one of the dialog box i keep getting
when i start the PC this is the micros i have (( MICROS WS5 . WINDOWS Embedded CE 6.0, EnglPlatform6.0 RC 1.3)

also i have a question , do i have to type in all menu item on the program , or there is i was to upload it from my laptop via USB key ?
and i went to CF/micros/e7/Bin , i clicked on Logo it gave me this box "" there is no application associated with'logo'. run the application first, then open this from within the application.''
im planning on opening next Monday and this machine is bothering me , if any help its very appreciated, and i really want to get this business going

Don't try and open the logo; window CE has no built in image viewing program. Delete it and replace it with your own Logo.bmp (you must keep the same file name).

How many workstations do you have? Just one? If so, there are a few tricks that we can use to get you into the 'superuser' account.

Yes, you must program it directly from the workstation given that you don't seem to have a BOC. Just plug a USB Mouse and Keyboard into it, the workstation will see them just fine.

There are quite a few considerations you have to make though if you are programming this yourself.

Make sure you enter the tax rates correctly.
Are you processing credit cards? Are you processing them with a stand beside terminal, or through the Micros system? If you are doing it stand beside, do you know how to set up a tender so that you can actually ring in the credit card sales?
Are you going to have employees? If so, are you doing labor control through Micros or some other way? Do you want them clocking in and out of the system?

i do have only one work station , and i will have 6 employees at the place ,
i want them to clock in and out at the station ,
also if its possible to show me the tricks you said about getting into the superuser , and is there an easy way to upload the menu ? and a small discption on how i get CC to work on the micros system coz i will just run it on the micros,
any help will be perfect

i have the keyboard and mouse.
i want to clear the totals and old receipts too
but before all i want to get to superuser and be able to do anything

hey , i delayed my opening till next monday due to some unfinished work and POS is amoung them
i sent you my email but i never got one yet
i have mechant link coming tomorrow to instul the CC
and im started typing my menu ,
i have a question , i can only get to menu screen on Manager log in
i don`t know if i wana keep that open all the time
any idea how to fix that ??

Sorry bud, I'm actually in the middle of a project that involves setting up Micros on ESXi 5.1 and some crazy VLAN hops, so I've been busy. Still looking for help on this?
