programing calendar control

Help

I am completely clueless (please don't tell my wife). I am a newbie to access and programming, the Tek tips board has been a great help. I have key word searched calendar, control, active x and a variety of combinations. I also looked at the FAQ's. I still am clueless on how to get a calendar active x to work. I have tried the example from different books and web sites and still have no clue on how to make it work.

I would like to use a query to populate the calendar, with several fields, including a dateApptField, customersLastName and several other fields.

Is there a great tutorial or website or recomendation?

I appreciate any and all help.

I looked at this in the past. But I will be happy to take another look. Maybe this time I might get a clue on what I am missing.
